The off-road experts at Pro Comp have developed an all-terrain tire that isn’t just amazingly capable, it’s long lasting too. In fact, the Xtreme MT2 comes with a 40,000 mile tread life warranty, something you really won’t find offered from pretty much any other brand.
Grip is provided by a four-row tread pattern that leaves significant void space to let the tire dig into loose surfaces. The stepped tread blocks serve multiple functions, allowing for more void space at the top of the tread, as well as more overall tread at the bottom for better handling. It also gives added edges for gripping on rocky surfaces.
Further grip comes from the alternating shoulder block designs. With the cool X motif on every second tread block the others are scalloped, creating a serrated edge for the tire to easily churn into surfaces before grabbing hold.
Ribs at the base of the tread between the shoulder tread blocks work to flex and dislodge rocks mud, which can not only limit performance but also reduce tread life if they aren’t removed.
Some added all-weather capability comes thanks to siping on the treads. Siping is limited and doesn’t do a lot to improve wet weather performance. Like pretty much all mud-terrain tires, they aren’t great when it comes to wet weather grip on-road.
Durability is another highlight of the Xtreme MT2. The tread life warranty is a pretty strong hint at just how well Pro Comp expects this tire to last. It’s also unlikely to leave you stranded thanks to a 3-ply sidewall and some fancy sidewall designs that provide an extra layer of protection.
While sizing is a bit limited for this tire, it is available in popular 15- 20-inch fitments in sizes from 31- to 40-inches.

Pricing for the Pro Comp Xtreme MT2 ranges from just under $200 per tire for a 15-inch size and goes up to around $500 per tire for some 20-inch sizes.
