AMP Tires Reviews

AMP Tires is a division of The Wheel Group, an Ontario, California-based manufacturer and distributor, which mainly focuses on aftermarket wheels.

TWG’s many wheel lines include American Truxx, Cali, Dirty Life, Mayhem, Ion, Ridler, Kraze and others. The majority of TWG’s wheel designs and fitments are for trucks, with heavy emphasis on Jeeps. The brand is characterized by its aggressive tread designs, not unlike Nitto Tires.

In addition to wheels and AMP Tires, TWG also produces vehicle accessories under the brands Mr. Lugnut, RHI, and Body Armor 4×4. The company also manufactures tire pressure monitoring sensors.

AMP Tires are available through distribution centers in the US and Canada, as well as online through select retailers like Priority Tire.

AMP offers three distinct truck tires, the A/T P Terrain Pro, the A/T A Terrain Attack and the M/T A Terrain Attack.

AMP A/T P Terrain Pro

The A/T P Terrain Pro is the brand’s entry-level offering for go-anywhere performance. Plus, it’s fit for use all year long no matter where you live thanks to the three-peak mountain snowflake certification. It’s is available in 16- to 20-inch sizes and comes with a 60,000 mile treadwear warranty.

AMP A/T A Terrain Attack

The A/T A Terrain Attack is a more extreme all-terrain tire boasting a four-block tread pattern normally found on mud-terrain tires. It comes in sizes ranging from 17- to 22-inches and is backed by a 40,000 mile warranty.

AMP M/T A Terrain Attack

The M/T A Terrain Attack is AMP’s most capable off-road tire, with a hyper-aggressive tread pattern that includes big and deep tread lugs (measuring 19- to 22-mms deep) with huge void spaces to help dig in to loose earth, gravel and mud, then spit it out again. It comes with a 3-ply sidewall for protection against rock cuts.

And while completely aesthetic, we also love the A-pattern on the sidewall.

AMP Tires Warranty

All AMP Tires come with a standard limited warranty. This covers tires deemed to be defective in materials and workmanship. Any such tires that are worn within the first 1/32-inch and have uniformity issues (such as being out of balance, pulling or being out-of-round) will be replaced free of charge. Any defective tires found within the first 2/32-inch of tread wear will be replaced free of charge. And finally any tires found to be defective in the first 25% of tread wear will be replaced free of charge. This apples only with proof of purchase by the original owner.
