Best Lexus NX200t Tires

There really is an excessively long list of great tires for the Lexus NX200t and you’re not going to regret any of the following options. Some are slightly better in different areas, so we’ll run through the highlights.

Our top choice is the Michelin Premier AS which costs more than all the rest here and has one of the lowest tread life ratings at 60,000 miles. So why pay more for less? Well, because it’s an exceptional all-season tire, incredibly comfortable and quiet and handily out-performs all other tires here for driving dynamics.

If you’re more interested in driving comfort than performance, we’d suggest the Goodyear Assurance Comfortred Touring, which uses an extra layer of cushioning between the tread and the tire casing to absorb bumps and make for a more comfortable ride. Pricing is $25 per tire less than the Michelins and the warranty is 80,000 miles.

Another 80,000 mile tire is the Continental TrueContact Tour which is the most affordable of our top picks. It’s long life does come at the expense of handling dynamics though.

For something that’s more well-rounded, the Continental Cross Contact LX 25 is probably your best bet, with a 70,000 mile warranty, a price point that’s even lower than the Goodyear and overall high levels of grip, comfort and quietness.

In terms of a tire that’s closer to the Michelins in performance, but not price, the Yokohama YK740 GTX delivers extremely impressive braking grip and handling performance, while costing as much as $40 less per tire.

You can also look at the Pirelli Cinturato P7 All Season Plus or Pirelli Scorpion Strada All Season, the former lasts longer and is as bit more expensive than the latter, though we’d suggest the Yokohamas over either if driving dynamics are your priority. We’re compelled to suggest the Pirellis though because both really are impressive and if there’s a current deal on them, we’d swing whichever way the bargain did.
