Bridgestone Dueler A/T Revo 2 Review

An all-terrain tire with a focus on the sort of on-road features most drivers look for, the Bridgestone Dueler A/T Revo 2 delivers for the vast majority of truck and SUV owners.

Pros

  • Off-road grip
  • Wet weather performance
  • Quiet
  • Decent tread life

Cons

  • Pricey
  • Dry on-road performance

As mentioned, this is an all-terrain tire. And it can perform off-road more than capably.

Where it really excels, however, is on the road where the tire is one of the quieter all-terrain offerings on the market. It’s comfortable as well, although most A/T tires are comfortable regardless. Treadlife is also a great feature. With a 50,000 mile treadlife warranty, the A/T Revo 2 is somewhat mid-pack in terms of the competitive set. So why do we count this as a benefit?

Well, most tires that do offer this much tread life don’t come with as much off-road grip. Ultimately, if you have more of one, you have less of another. We think this is a solid compromise.

Bridgestone recommends that another tire to consider if you’re looking at the A/T Revo 2 is the H/L Aleza Plus, which isn’t an all-terrain tire but rather an all-season with a focus more on on-road grip and long life, with an 80,000 mile treadwear warranty. If you are leaning more towards more on-road performance and all the added tread life that comes with it, we agree.

On-road, the A/T Revo 2’s off-road characteristics help it have really impressive wet-weather grip. So if that’s a key feature for you, or you live somewhere that gets a lot of rain, this is a key tire to consider for your truck.

As for drawbacks, the tire’s dry-weather on-road grip is somewhat lacking. Highway stability and cornering are both decent, but the tread itself just doesn’t hold up as well in those conditions. (Again, if that’s a big deal for you, an all-season tire is probably where you should be looking at).

Overall, Bridgestone Dueller A/T Revo 2 customers are incredibly satisfied with their choice, with 91.4% recommending it.

NOTE: The Revo 2 has been continued and while still in stock at some retailers, we recommend you check out the improved Revo 3 here.

Bridgestone Dueler A/T Revo 2 Warranty

The Bridgestone Dueler A/T Revo 2 comes backed with a 50,000 mile treadwear warranty.

In addition, every Bridgestone tire is backed by the brand’s factory limited warranty. If the tire is found to be defective in terms of materials or workmanship in the first three years it will be replaced free of charge. (That’s an unusually good warranty, as most brands only offer such coverage for the first year). After that period and up to 5 years from the date of purchase (or down to the final 2/32-inch of tread), Bridgestone will replace the tire on a pro-rated basis.

All Bridgestone tires also come backed by a 30-day “Buy and Try” guarantee. If you’re not 100% satisfied with your tires, you can return or exchange them free of charge.
