What is the Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac Tread Life?
If you’re hunting for answers, then you’ve come to the right place.
Built for true off-road capability, it’s rare that a tire this aggressive comes backed with such a warranty. Built to last at least 50,000 miles, expect that much and more with owners reporting easily having hit 50,000 miles with regular rotation.

The Duratrac comes with a 50,000 mile warranty as well as a standard Goodyear warranty on workmanship or materials. For that warranty, Goodyear will replace your tire if there’s an issue during the first 2/32nds of useable tread or any time during the first 12 months from the date of purchase. As a nice bonus feature, Goodyear’s warranty also include no charge mounting and balancing of the replacement tire.
The warranty for tires beyond the first 2/32nds of treadwear will be prorated and applies to any Goodyear tire (also sub-brands Dunlop and Kelly Tires) within the first six years since the original purchase date.
While the 50,000 mile warranty is solid, it’s actually one of the lowest that Goodyear has, even on its Wrangler lineup of tires. While that is a negative, it also gives you a strong indication of just how off-road capable the Wrangler Duratrac is.

It’s also worth pointing out that it gets this warranty while also achieving the three-peak mountain snowflake rating from the U.S. Tire Manufacturers Association (USTMA) and the Rubber Association of Canada (RAC), meaning it’s fully capable in extreme winter conditions. (Of note, some sizes do not get this certification, though the vast majority do).
